Why does it require more time to take the formals of the bride and groom after the wedding (instead of the usual before the wedding photographs)?
A. We have to set up and take down equipment twice instead of once. More artwork is generally necessary because of the increased probability of crushed flowers and makeup or other marks on clothing. The photographs are generally more rushed because the wedding party is in a hurry to get to the reception. It is often more difficult to locate people for the photograph because they are (you fill in the blank) so the photography takes longer. We take more exposures to get good photographs because people are not generally as relaxed. All of these things increase our costs and we feel it is only good business practice to pass these costs on to the people who use these services.
