Why does it have to be setup as a serial device using an included adapter when it has a PS/2 connector on the end of the cord?
Most people have a PS2 mouse in their PS2 mouse port. That is why our directions indicate serial. We include the adapter just in case someone has a serial mouse and needs to plug the Big Button into the PS2 port. If it’s in the serial, set it up as serial. If it’s going in the PS2, set it up as the PS2. —————- My computer is a “garage special” and the seller did not include a Windows CD-ROM.
