The program is pre-set to put questions in “User-Defined Order” so that when you transfer a question or group of questions to a test, they are placed immediately after the question that is highlighted in the Test window. Usually, questions will be added to the end of the test, after the last question, unless you inadvertently click in another location on the test, in which case new questions will be added after the location where you clicked. To have the questions sorted or added to the test in testbank order or some other preferred order, click the Sort button or choose “Sort” on the Tools menu to turn off “User-Defined Order” and make another sort choice. Q: The answer key for the test I created using TestGen-EQ is wrong; the answers are not the same as the answers given in the printed testbank. A: TestGen-EQ is set by default to “Shuffle on transfer.” This means that order of the answer choices will be shuffled automatically when a multiple choice question is transferred to a test.
