Why does isolation have negative pshychological effects?
When you are isolated from creation, you are more alone with the Creator. ‘And He is with you (by His Knowledge) wheresoever you may be. And Allah is the All-Seer of what you do.’ in 57:4. He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days and then Istawa (rose over) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). He knows what goes into the earth and what comes forth from it, what descends from the heaven and what ascends thereto. And He is with you (by His Knowledge) wheresoever you may be. And Allah is the All-Seer of what you do. http://noblequran.com/translation/index.… Maybe isolation can lead to insanity when you are unaware of God and hence, when you are isolated from humans and living things, etc, you get depressed.. whereas those who recognise God and live with knowledge of him, while submitting to Him… these are for whom is contentment in this world and the next, and God knows best.
