Why does hand knit wool cost so much?

Each piece is lovingly crafted. Everything is hand knit which takes hours and hours to complete. I think of each piece of a mini work-of-art and take a lot of care doing them. The wool is expensive as I prefer super soft premium yarns and at last count the med/lg Fancy Flares took me 28 hours to complete due to the girly flares design! I do this because I love it and I want to see other babies happily wearing my designs!
