Why does Greedo have conflicting backstories?
wampa: Well, that isn’t the same Greedo. The Greedo from The Phantom Menace cutscene is Greedo the Elder, father of the Greedo in A New Hope. Greedo the Elder was killed by Navik the Red, head of the Chattza clan. His son Greedo developed into the bounty hunter seen in A New Hope and Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina (see page 75 of the New Essential Guide to Characters for more on Greedo).
