Why does god hate bacon cheeseburgers?
well as far as the bacon part, God made that rule back in the day because pork is a sketchy, dirty animal that has to be raised and cooked properly as to avoid diseases. God was like “umm you guys are too stupid to do this right so…just don’t do it at all”. As far as the whole cheese and burger part, that’s just a Kosher thing. God wanted to see if they were serious about being His peeps and whatnot, so He gave them dietary restrictions. I don’t think God necessarily HATES bacon cheeseburgers, just that, He didn’t want His people eating them. I don’t HATE snakes, but I don’t wanna eat one…soo yea.
I would like to answer this question to make people aware, especially Christians about what to eat and what not to eat. In the old testament, in different parts we can see God telling His people that not to eat certain things of certain animals and certain parts of certain animals and so on. God told these things to do to make His people pure for each and every simple things. But He found that not only in the case of eating, but in all cases the people are not walking in His ways. He found that no one is walking according to His laws and commandments. So He decided to come as the Son of God, to make the unordered things, in an order and to bring fullness to the law. Thus came Jesus Christ and New Testament. In the New Testament we can see Jesus Christ very clearly explaining the things even in the case of food. That verses starts from Mark 7:15.
