Why Does God Allow False Prophets?
God did not create us as robots or with instinct as He did the animals. He has given us intelligence and has given us free moral agency. God allowed Adam and Eve to choose. Under the sway of Satan the devil they chose to sin and to eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. We need to remember that God has always made known His laws and commandments in every generation. Otherwise, God could not impute sin or bring judgment against sinners because where there is no law there is no sin (Gen. 4-6; Rom. 1:18-32; 3:9-23; 4:15; 5:12-14). Later, when God gave His laws and commandments to His people Israel, which they understood, He commanded them to choose: For this commandment which I command thee this day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off.
