Gene reckons Alex is a bit posh. The Bols in question is Bollinger champagne, a favourite drink for a certain type of public schoolgirl in the 1980’s. Famously the character Patsy from the 90’s sitcom ‘Absolutely fabulous’ was always asking for a ‘bit of Bolly’.
