The RT6656 is fully supported by Windows CE. Most people have not tried the Windows CE sample included on the DVDs because it is in Chinese. VIA does not make new drivers for Linux available. They are being worked on. Use a WN321G (TP-Link, RAlink chip set) or equivalent with Linux. Late news: The VIA chipset is supported in Linux 2.6.32 and later.
