Why does foliar spraying with R.U.M. help?
R.U.M. applied at the “early tillering” and “boot” stages helps to top up the crop with readily available nitrogen and trace elements. When applying nitrogen rich R.U.M. as a foliar spray the loss of valuable “N” from the foliar application to the atmosphere and leaching is virtually non-existent. Farmers say that using R.U.M. in conjunction with fertilizers (chemical and mineral) helps in the with release of the N.P.K. etc, thus a better value from these products, less leaching and lockup.
