Why does Flint River Ranch use Glycosaminoglycans (GAG’S)?

0

Glycosaminoglycans, or GAG’S, are chondroitin sulfates – a natural polymer of protein and disaccharides – and make up a major portion of the GAG’S in cartilage. GAG’S also include 4,5 (A,B) glucosamines (which help with cartilage repair) and hyaluronic acid – a principal component of cartilage that helps with inflammation and discomfort. GAG’S are known to be the building blocks of cartilage and may contribute to the function of healthy joints as well as play a major structural role in cartilage, tendons and bones. FRR currently offers these cartilage-derived mucopolysaccharides in two products: Jubilee Wafers with 150 mg. (app. 750 mg. per cup) and Senior Plus with 250 mg Glucosamine and 100mg/cup Chondroitin.
