fibromatosis: yes it can turn into cancer it is a type of tumor and any tumor has a chance of turning to a cancer although with this type it is rare. Sometimes benign tumors can have a very aggressive course. Fibromatosis is a soft tissue tumor that has a nasty habit of many local recurrences if not completely excised. These tumors can be very painful and disfiguring. lipoma:no it cant turn malignant This is the most common benign soft tissue tumor of adults. They are sometimes multiple and usually painless and asymptomatic. Malignant transformation is virtually never seen. Angiolipoma is a common variant which has a proliferation of small vessels scattered throughout the fat.
