Why does everyone have a problem with the phrase God Bless America??
Looks like a molehill to me. I don’t have a problem with the phrase. I think it is humbling and yet inspirational. However, other people have issues with the word God being used in any way in public. I see the word as a title rather than a name so I think that people of many different religions should be able to relate to it if they want to. If I were an atheist, I would probably think of it as a word meaning something greater than myself (which could be anything). I guess not everyone wants to try to find common ground.
