Why does everyone hate my great grand father?
He didn’t have children. And if you are going to claim that he is your great grandfather then don’t call him your father at the same time. You’re just being an idiot and the problem is that 14 year olds (and other assorted people who don’t know about what happened) think he was a great person because he was a powerful leader. He was a great speaker who had some great people around him. He came to power at a time when the people of Germany were willing to vote for anyone who was willing to tell them that it was not their fault and that there could be change. When he got elected, the people around him started to improve things while he started to go a little psycho. He started to persecute people all around him and particularly the jews, communists, physically and mentally handicapped, criminals, alcoholics, gypsies and anyone else he could declare as less than desirable.
