EventElephant has a legal obligation to protect the rights of attendees who pay to attend events using the EventElephant system. Should an organiser cancel an event then EventElephant has to ensure that the attendees can be refunded the fees that they have paid. Attendees will be wary of using an event payment system that doesn’t offer similar refund guarantees.
