Why does England dislike scottish people?

0

Sadly the peoples of England and Scotland rely too much on stereotypes of each other. Londoners often see drunk Scottish guys begging outside tube stations and think we’re all like that, Scots can think English people are football hooligans or they’re all like the cast of Eastenders. UK is a big place with over 60 million people on these islands. We’re all different and that’s worth celebrating. I hope the English don’t dislike me, I like having them as neighbours, they’re good people that I’m proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with.

I’m Scottish and I actually don’t know why there is a disliking between our two countries. Anyway, a lot of my Scottish friends just don’t like the English and I’ve never found out an actual reason why.

Well, Britain has had 2 consecutive Scottish prime ministers, so the English can’t dislike them that much!
