Why does emattress not vacuum pack and shrink wrap mattresses and ship in a small box?
Vacuum packing a foam mattress compresses the cell walls and can weaken the integrity of the foam, shortening the life span of the mattress, resiliency, and memory of the foam. Always ask before you order, how the mattress is shipped! Only lower density foam can be vacuum packed and shrink wrapped. These mattresses are not comparable to the Tempur-Pedic® brand.
