Emacs is incompatible with the latest versions of mouse wheel devices. To get your mouse wheel to work with Emacs, you’ll need to select some options in the device setup panels. • Intellimouse: To use the wheel as a middle button, select “Standard behavior” and “Paste on one click”. To use the wheel, disable “Universal Scrolling”. • MouseMan: Select “Use Office 97 Compatible Scroll Only”.
