Why does electricity flow from negative to positive?
When you say “from negative to positive” you mean from a negative electric potential to positive electric potential. This potential gradient constitutes an electric field that points from the positive to negative terminals. Charged particles, like electrons, experience a force when they are in an electric field. Since positive charges move in the direction of an electric field, negative charges (the electrons) move opposite the direction of the electric field…this means that the electrons will move from negative to positive.
