I wanted to explore different parts of the Drake world and different perspectives. Book #1 deals mostly with the Drakes, #2 with the Hounds, #3 with the Helios-Ra, #4 with the Hel-Blar. Book #5 is like a big family reunion. But with more teeth and nefarious plots. Book 6 continues along that vein. (vampire puns are really, really hard to avoid) Solange’s storyline is the main arc, tying all of these worlds and people together; as well as her friendship with Lucy.
