Why does Dr. House walk with a limp?
This was actually answered in one of the past episodes. Dr. House had a horrible infection in his leg- so horrible they wanted to amputate the leg but he refused – choosing to die comfortably instead. Once he’d gone unconscious from the meds; however, his power of attorney person authorized for a procedure to be done on his leg-cutting out a great deal of tissue and muscle- leaving him with a limp and a 50% chance of living. Well, he lived and has the limp.
