Why does depression and despair always produce the best work for poetry and writing?
I’d have to say that it leads to hard core drugs such as heroin which unfortunately produce very intense lyrics and music. Other than the drugs aspect I don’t feel that depression and despair create the best poetry and writing. I love the work of well rounded individuals whom actually understand what love and humanitarianism is and do not need to rely on drugs for inspiration. This is a loaded question and you need to seek new paths if you can’t see the meaning of poetry written by someone that isn’t necessarily despair addled and possibly drug addled. Get a fucking clue, in conclusion.
