Why does dell.com sometimes advertise lower prices than TSW?
The prices advertised on dell.com, particularly on the Home & Home Office site, are a double-edged sword. Often the prices and configurations they offer are bottom-of-the-barrel configurations with limited warranties that are designed to draw in customers in order to get them to upgrade to a more complete system. The systems we offer come as complete packages which we believe to best suit the needs of our customers and generally offer the best balance between price, performance, and reliability. Even still, dell.com will occasionally have an exclusive sale which will yield a temporarily lower price than TSW.
