Why does CrystalClear take a long time to respond, then an error message occurs saying that CrystalClear cannot get a response from the R-AXIS?

If you are not actually connected to an X-ray detector, you should make sure CrystalClear is set in Simulator mode. Click Tools > Preferences, then click the Server tab. Check the detector in the list to force CrystalClear to run in Simulator mode. Otherwise turn on the detector prior to booting the computer.
