Cork flooring is similar to hardwood flooring in this aspect because it also has the tendency to change its size depending on the change of temperature. Due to this, it is not advisable to install cork in rooms which do not have a controlled humidity or climate. Before installation, you should let the cork tiles or planks sit on the floor where you will install it for at least 24 hours so that it can get used to the climate of the room.
