Why does CMSCI require follow-on metrics with subsequent proposals?
Sustaining the gains from kaizen is often a challenge. Management’s tracking of metrics via communication boards and/or periodic meetings is one way to keep a focus on the metrics from prior improvement activity. To help ensure companies we are funding have a sound return on investment, we ask that continuation metrics from prior projects, funded under ADI, be submitted with subsequent project proposals.
