Why does ClubScheduler offer a “Save Changes” button?
That’s a good question. The answer is simply because I (Mark) wanted it. I often make some changes that I know I want to keep — for example, entering some specific member requests or new member information — and then I make some changes that I’m not sure I’ll want to keep — for example, changing some scheduling options to see what impact they might have on role assignments. So I found that I was continually having to “Save & Quit” the program, and then re-launch the program to do my experimenting. Now, I make sure to use the “Save Changes” button whenever I’m happy with what I’ve entered so far, especially when I’ve entered a significant amount of data. This leaves me the option of using the “Quit (No Save)” button after my experimental phase without losing time and effort.
