Why does ClubScheduler attempt to access the Internet when I “Save & Quit”?
Whenever you close ClubScheduler via the “Save & Quit” button, the program attempts to access this website to check for newer versions of the software. If no Internet connection is open, or if no newer version of the software exists, the program shuts down normally. If a newer version is found, ClubScheduler will ask you whether you’d like to upgrade to the latest version. The upgrade process is quick and painless, automatically installing the new version over the old one, without prompting you for additional installation parameters. There is a byproduct of this feature that some users may find disconcerting: Given some computer configurations, quitting the program with no Internet connection open may cause a dialog to be displayed, asking you whether you’d like to connect to the Internet.
