If two partners have the same capability level in a technology, receiving the same discount for that particular technology is leveling the playing field. The Cisco Advanced Specialization Discount Program applies to certain advanced technology specializations (Unified Communications, Wireless LAN, and Security) and corresponding products. Because Cisco Gold Certified Partners have demonstrated expertise across core Cisco advanced technologies, and sales transactions cross multiple technologies, a Gold Certified Partner will enjoy a discount advantage over other partners for a typical deal, as well as for any deal outside a Cisco Premier or Silver Certified Partner’s Advanced Specialization area.
