Why does changing the layout of a room (the board and pieces, and the position/size of the windows) not cause the same exact changes in other rooms?

The idea of the “layout” in Chessmaster is that each room has “furniture”, if you will, and the user has the ability to “arrange the furniture” for each room individually. Therefore, each room looks the same when you return to it as the way you left it. If you want to make sweeping changes (such as making the board the same in EVERY room), you will need to make those changes in all rooms. Chessmaster automatically saves each user’s layout (for ALL rooms) when they exit or log off. Therefore, you do not need to specifically save your layout unless you want to have mutliple custom layouts available to you.
