Why does CDI charge so much for the Behind-the-Wheel Test?
CDI provides this service as a courtesy for our customers; our main business focus is on drivers education and instruction provided in behind the wheel lessons. When customers request a BOST test, CDI has to set aside time from the main functions of the business- delivering services, administration work, etc. to accommodate that request. CDI charges a fee for the test because these normal business functions are postponed and the company incurs a tangible opportunity cost. The test fee has remained the same for over seven years.
