Why does Career Next Step offer so many assessments?

0

In our 35 collective years of career counseling and consulting, we have yet to find a single career assessment that provides an individual with a comprehensive career and personality profile. Unfortunately the typical approach among most career centers is to do just this. Many of our users have complained that as an undergraduate, the only career explanation they did was when they were asked to take the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Strong Interest Inventory, Focus, and other common assessments. At Career Next Step, we believe this is a flawed approach. It is only by taking a battery of assessments, each of which measures unique personality attributes and preferences, can an individual develop a true self profile. We encourage you to take multiple assessments (we offer up to 16). With each assessment you will either discover new attribututes or reinforce known personal attributes that are critical to your career satisfaction.
