WHY DOES C.H.A.T CARRY OUT A HOME VISIT (HOME CHECK) ?
Answer- Our cats and kittens are rescued, many have been struggling to survive as strays on the streets or have been neglected or mistreated by their previous owners. We want to feel reassured that they are going to new lives where they will be treated with kindness, fed well and receive appropriate veterinary care as required. We like to provide any advice you need about settling in new cats e.g feeding, health care, if they are to go outside how long to keep them in initially. We also like to discuss with you what ‘sort’ of cats or kittens will suit your home and lifestyle e.g a home with children will need friendly ‘normal’ temperament cats or kittens. An adult only home with previous experience of cats would be able to consider choosing nervous cats or kittens. If cats are to go outside we do look for hazards such as proximity or access on to busy roads.
