With more experienced foreign coaches, the British Wrestling World Class Performance Programme gains access to better coaching techniques and methods from Eastern European programme. This includes significant connections with their teams and programmes such as training with their wrestlers, the ability to attend their training camps, logistic support for competitions and etc. Also, it is important that Great Britain achieves medal places in world-class competitions because funding follows performance and high-profile achievement lifts the reputation of wrestling.
