Why does Bush admire “the Buck Stops Here” Harry Truman when Bush blames everyone but himself for WMD screw up?

Truman was wrongly considered a poor president until years later when his decisions proved to be quite visionary in retrospect. Bush will end up much the same way. If there are arab democracies in 20 years, it will be because of George W. Bush’s visionary democracy iniatives. The thing that hurts Bush’s approval now is that, like Truman, he made decisions on things that will take several decades to bear fruit. Few politicians have the character to waste their time on things that won’t pay off during their time in office, but Truman did. So did Bush. In that respect, they are quite similar.

Why don’t you get off the media’s agenda and think for yourself? People make mistakes, and GW has admitted to those he may have made, but is not responsible for all those the media, and morons like you, would like to ascribe to him. Personally, I am proud of him for standing up for this country, and for bearing with all the flack he has gotten for it from muttonheads like you, who have no better plan than whining about anybody who does anything without checking their approval ratings first. Particularly as those are mostly sculpted by the idiotic left, no one of sense would bother. I am grateful that GW manned up when we needed it, and did what most of us wanted him to do, no matter that seven years of slurs and lies have changed some of our weaker minds on the subject of self-defense. Harry Truman ate plenty of crap over dropping the bombs, but the press was less sharklike, and ungrateful, then than those currently pretending to provide the service of reporting the news.
