Because it is much better than having a dictator or a party political head of state that changes every few years. Many countries have chosen to reinstate there monarchy’s, because of the many benefits. A monarch is politically neutral so can be supported by all of a country’s citizens. A monarch has had a lifetimes training and experience so is usually a much better ambassador for the country than a president. A monarch gain you better access to other royal families, facilitating better international relations. A monarchy is much, much cheaper than having a presidency.
