Why does boyfriend keep his old love letters from an ex?
I only expect what I am giving to my husband in return…therefore I DO NOT keep old pictures and letters from exes so he should respect me enough not to keep them either. Some of his were extremely GRAPHIC and sexual in nature..I think it would be really disrespectful to your new wife or girlfriend to hold onto junk like that. When you are truly devoted to your new person you shouldn’t feel the need to reread old love letters and keep in contact with old flames…it sends the wrong message to your new partner. I personally would ask him why he’s keeping them, ask him how he would feel if you kept old love letters and pictures and then tell him it makes you feel like he still loves her and you don’t see any reason why he would be keeping them otherwise. If the letters were stored away somewhere maybe he just forgot he hadthem.
