Why does Blue Sky Swings use vinyl and poly lumber?
Vinyl is used to encase the wood, enhancing its strength and durability. By encasing the wood in vinyl we are able to eliminate deterioration and decay caused by sun and moisture. As a result, there is virtually no maintenance needed in comparison to painted or stained wooden play sets. A vinyl system also removes the possibility of painful splinters, a common problem on sets with exposed wood.
