Why does Ayesha Takia not expose like other heroines?
Ayesha Takia is a stellar example an actress who has stood her ground and stuck by her values. She has maintained a clear stand that she will never wear low cut blouses or minis, leave alone shoot for a love-making scene. There were scenarios in which the directors had asked her to do a love making scene or kissing scene for which she strongly objected. For example, Anurag Basu had asked her to do a love scene with John Abraham for No Smoking, to which Ayesha put her foot down. Finally the scene was shot in a different kind of setting but had the required impact without requiring her to disrobe. Ayesha has stated in many interviews that she would rather do films like Dor(which is a landmark film) than wear itsy bitsy outfits.
