Why does AVDS manage risk through asset values instead of vulnerability values?
Organizations portray the risk of a vulnerability differently among one another. Instead of changing the value of the vulnerability which could be ambiguous, changing the value of the asset is more relevant. This means that a high value asset is deemed more vulnerable than a low value asset if they have the same vulnerability.
