When upgrading a user from non-roaming status to roaming, the Notes/Domino Administrator is provided with the option of specifying a unique folder path for the user’s roaming files. This path must be relative to the Data directory on the roaming server, and should not begin with a leading ‘\” (slash) or driver letter. The results of this action will cause the roaming upgrade to fail and leave the user in an “In-progress” state in the Roaming tab of the Person document for the target user.
