Why does an additional window display when one of the following roles is assigned: Software Assurance Manager, Online Services Manager, or Subscription Manager?
When a role group is selected, all associated roles within the role group are selected by default. A new window opens to allow modification by selecting or deselecting specific roles within the group. Small companies may choose to retain default permissions when assigning permissions to an individual. To assign the default selection of all roles within a role group to the requestor, verify the All check box is selected and then click OK. Large companies often need to distribute management control of Licensing ID associated entitlements among multiple individuals in different departments. For example, you may want to assign an individual from the IT Department to manage the 24×7 Problem Resolution Support SA Benefit and an individual from the Human Resources Department to manage the Home Use Program benefit. To customize the roles included when assigning a user to a role group, uncheck All and then check only the roles to be assigned. In the future, VLSC will support further granularity
