Why does AmericanPassport.com ask for two dates on the submission sheet – the date the passport must be back in our possession and the date of the travelers next international trip?
These dates are important because the traveler may require that his/her passport be returned to them in advance of their actual departure date or there may be an interim international trip scheduled. Please note that processing timeframes and fees are based on the date the passport must be back in your possession.
