Why does America have homeless people?
There are homeless people in America for many reasons. Some prefer that lifestyle. Some suffer from mental disorders. Some contract a lengthy illness that takes their jobs, their home, their savings accounts & the cancellations of their health insurance because it became to expensive for the insurance company to pay. The number of people living from paycheck to paycheck increases daily. Couple the ever increasing cost of living with the loss of jobs from illegal immigrants, outsourcing or moving of entire companies off shore & the result is day to day living or worse, homelessness. Many people in the USA are making millions on the war in Iraq. Unfortunately the average American is not among them. They are the ones that are making the sacrifice in Blood & money. By the way, “justagra” is dead right about releasing the mentally handicapped!! I think Reagan was behind releasing them without any solid plan for taking care of them. Probably accounts for a large section of the homeless!
