WHY DOES ALOE VERA WORK?
The moisture base for Jlenes products is Medical Quality Whole Leaf Aloe Vera Gel. This establishes the type of oils and moisture that form the base, but Jlenes added another dimension — controlled environment. Whole Leaf Aloe Vera used for our products comes from plants grown in greenhouses. This gives us complete year round soil control. The Whole Leaf Aloe Vera plant produces at least six antiseptic agents: Lupeol, salicylic acid, urea nitrogen, cinnamonic acid, phenols, and sulphur. All of these substances are recognized as antiseptics because they kill or control mold, bacteria, fungus, and viruses. Lupeol and salicylic acid is a very effective pain killer. Whole Leaf Aloe Vera contains at least three anti-inflammatory, fatty acids, cholesterol, camper sterol and B-sitosterol (plant sterol) which explains why it is a highly effective treatment for burns, cuts, scrapes, abrasions, and allergic reactions.
