Why does Aeriis plant a tree for each scattering?
We believe memorial services are the celebration of one’s life, and planting a tree is a tribute to that. Trees add life, beauty and joy to their surroundings and provide an important ecological benefit to their respective ecosystems. Furthermore, the carbon dioxide processed by one tree over its lifetime will far surpass the carbon emitted by our aerial scattering memorial service, essential rendering Aeriis a carbon-neutral, or “green”, company. Our company’s philosophy is to leave this planet better than we found it, and this is our way of accomplishing this important mission.
