Why does Abigold require new clients to visit the kennel prior to boarding?
We are concerned with the health and well-being of all dogs staying at Abigold. Abigold must meet the dog to make certain he has all current vaccinations, is in good health, is clean and parasite-free, and is non-aggressive. This visit helps to put the dog owner at ease because he/she can see the facility, meet Abigolds owner, and ask questions. This visit also helps the dog. If the dog visits with his owner and then goes home, he will remember that and not feel abandoned when his owner leaves him at a later date for boarding. You must bring your dogs vaccination records with you when you make your new client visit; otherwise your reservation will not be held.
