Why does a variable-length KeyedAccessRecordFile read or write only 80-byte records?

Opening an existing KSDS does not automatically set the correct record length in the KeyedAccessRecordFile. You must manually set it to some value greater than or equal to the maximum record length; otherwise the default (IConstants.JRIO_DEFAULT_RECORD_LENGTH = 80) is used.
