Why does a snake move along with the snake charmers music?
All snakes irrespective of the country of origin are completely blind and deaf and yet are one of the most fearsome predators available, this is because it is capable of receiving and interpreting vibrations from a long distance,this same ability is used by snake charmers in India and other countries to make it dance, while the snake is unable to hear the music it is able to feel the vibration of the “been” and sways in response to it, most if not all of these snakes used for exhibition have had their poisonous gland removed, further long periods of captivity errodes their instinct for attack and all that it tries to do is defend itself from what it instinctively feels is a threat
